There are two main rules of Password:
Rule 1- Password Length
It is advisable to stick with the passwords that have at least 8 characters in length. The more character in the password is actually excellent as the time consumed to crack the password by the hacker will be longer. Therefore, 10 characters or longer than 10 are better to use for password

Rule 2 – Password Complexity
It should contain at least one character from every of the following group. At least 4 characters in your passwords must be each one of the given below:
·         Lower Case Alphabets
·         Numbers and Special Characters

Well, you can say the above rules as 8/4 Rule (Eight Four Rule)
·         4 = 1 lower case + 1 upper case + 1 special character + 1 number
·         Upper Case Alphabets
·         8 = 8 characters minimum length

By following this “8/4 Rule” will be a great improvement and quickly make your password stronger than before for most of you who don’t follow any strategies or rules when creating a password. A hacker will not do this by his/her hand; he or she will set up a program to examine all the email address and password combination for them. While using the same password for everything, again and again, they provide access to the hacker for their email accounts and bank accounts most of their whole online private life. It can also be used to steal money or for identity theft purposes.
